Enabling AGBIS to migrate content, events listings & resources

The Association of Governing Bodies of independent schools (AGBIS) supports and advises governing bodies of schools in the independent sector on all aspects of governance, under the umbrella of the Independent Schools Council.

Schools join AGBIS at a school level with clerks and bursars managing the administration of governing boards. Governors need easy access to the latest regulatory advice and network events.

The Challenge

AGBIS had an outdated website and a CRM that was no longer fit for purpose.

Clerks at independent schools often manage the business of governing boards for multiple schools. They need to easily book governors onto events, share confidential information and manage meetings.

The association required a platform which would give member organisations and their administrators the tools to manage their business and share the latest guidance on school governance.

A new simple solution was required urgently. This challenge was complicated by the fact that AGBIS was undergoing significant organisational change at the same time.

School Switcher

As a single clerk or bursar can manage multiple governing boards a switch button was added to the AGBIS website. This allowed admins easily to move between school profiles and manage different boards
