The Associations Forum National Conference brings together senior executives, board members, and sector experts from across Australia's associations, charities, and not-for-profit community. This year it takes place on 28–29 July 2026 at the Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre.
We're exhibiting at AFNC and running two Learning Labs in the exhibition hall — both 30-minute sessions designed to be practical and immediately applicable, whatever the size or maturity of your association.
Tuesday 28 July
2:00–2:30pm: Learning Lab: Why Members Leave — What the Data is Telling You and What to do About It
Most associations know their retention rate. Far fewer understand what drives it. The signs of disengagement — fewer logins, no event bookings, unopened emails — are usually visible for months before a member doesn't renew. We'll look at how to read those signals in time to act, drawing on associations that have genuinely improved retention after getting a clearer view of their members.
Wednesday 29 July
2:00–2:30pm: Learning Lab: Your AI is only as good as the data it can see
Many associations are experimenting with AI, but the real challenge is whether it can see the right data. Member knowledge sits across CRM systems, events, documents, and digital interactions — and when it's disconnected, AI delivers limited value. We'll walk through what changes when AI is built into your membership platform rather than bolted on, including how ReadyMembership's AI capability, ReadyIntelligence, gives staff real-time insight and members a smarter experience.
Come and find us in the exhibition hall at stand G1 to continue the conversation.
